My Helen's House, Inc. supports the Sisterhood Program at Dallas Austin Center

My Helen’s House, Inc. proudly provided clothing and winter care packages to the Sisterhood Program at the Austin Street Center — one of the largest low-barrier shelters in Dallas. The Sisterhood Program supports women facing homelessness and life-impacting challenges including trauma, abuse, exploitation, substance addiction, and mental illness. Their mission reflects compassion in action, offering life-skills training, counseling, therapy, temporary housing, and peer support designed to guide women toward independence, stability, and healing.

Lisa M. Fisher, CEO and Founder of My Helen’s House, Inc.  served as the guest speaker for 25 Sisterhood residents, sharing words of hope, encouragement, and her own powerful journey from homelessness to restoration and success. Her story is not only a testimony of resilience — it is the foundation of her passion to serve.
