At My Helen’s House, Inc., we believe love should be felt every single day. But Valentine’s Day is especially meaningful because it allows us to gently remind survivors of domestic violence of something that may have been taken from them—that they are worthy of love, care, and tenderness.
On February 10, 2026, our hearts led us to The Family Place, where our love shined brightly through carefully prepared Valentine’s Day gifts for the women we serve. Each gift included a single rose, a quiet yet powerful symbol meant to say, “You are not forgotten. You matter. You are loved.”
For many survivors, words are not enough. At My Helen’s House, Inc., we understand that sometimes love must be shown, not spoken. Our love language—acts of service and gift-giving—is how we wrap compassion around those who have endured unimaginable pain. Through these small but meaningful gestures, we hope to plant seeds of hope, restore dignity, and remind every woman that love can be safe, kind, and unconditional.
This is how we serve. This is how we love.
