My Helen’s House, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women from all walks of life to discover their strength, embrace their purpose, and build lives filled with hope, stability, and opportunity.

Founded in loving memory of my mother, Helen Lee Wagner, My Helen’s House, Inc., was born from a daughter's promise to transform love into action and legacy into impact. Her compassion, resilience, generosity, and unwavering belief in helping others continue to inspire everything we do.

​

My Helen’s House, Inc., is truly "The House That Love Built." Built on a foundation of faith, service, and compassion, our organization exists to ensure that women know they are seen, valued, supported, and capable of achieving their greatest potential.

During the uncertainty and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, a vision emerged—one rooted in the belief that even one act of kindness can change a life. Guided by Luke 6:38:

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over..." We believe that when women are empowered, families are strengthened, communities are transformed, and generations are changed.

At My Helen’s House, Inc., we understand that every woman carries a unique story. Some are overcoming adversity. Some are rebuilding after life’s hardships. Others are searching for direction, opportunity, or someone who believes in them. No matter where she is on her journey, every woman deserves a safe place to grow, heal, and thrive.

We believe in the power of sisterhood—the power of women supporting women. When women uplift one another, they create a ripple effect of strength, resilience, and success that extends far beyond themselves.

Investing in the dreams of young women, particularly first-generation college students, by helping remove financial barriers and opening doors to higher education and future success.

Community Support & Charitable Giving

Serving women and families through outreach initiatives that provide hope, resources, and assistance during critical moments when support matters most.

A Message From Our Founder

My name is Lisa M. Fisher, Founder and CEO of My Helen’s House, Inc.

I am a mother, entrepreneur, advocate, and passionate people investor. My life's journey has taught me that resilience is born through adversity, faith can carry us through life's greatest challenges, and true purpose is found when we use our experiences to help others rise.

My mission is to empower women to become stronger, self-sufficient, spiritually grounded, financially secure, and confident in the extraordinary woman they were created to be.

 

At My Helen’s House Inc., we are building more than programs—we are building hope. We are creating opportunities. We are restoring confidence. We are helping women write new chapters in their lives.

Together, we are creating a community where women encourage one another, break generational barriers, pursue their dreams, and leave a legacy for those who follow.  Because when one woman rises, she reaches back and lifts another.  And when women rise together, communities thrive.
